Logistics Coordinator

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage Shipments

  Coordinate and oversee the scheduling and execution of inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining communication with carriers and clients to address any issues.

• Inventory Management

  Monitor, record, and track inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Implement inventory controls and conduct regular audits to prevent discrepancies and losses.

• Vendor Coordination

  Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers. Negotiate contracts and terms to optimize costs and enhance service quality, ensuring alignment with company standards.

• Documentation and Compliance

  Prepare and manage all required shipping documentation, ensuring compliance with regulations and legal requirements. Maintain an organized documentation system for easy retrieval.

• Performance Analysis

  Analyze logistics data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. Provide reports and recommendations to management for optimizing logistics processes and cost reduction.

• Customer Service

  Serve as the main point of contact for customer inquiries and concerns, providing timely updates on shipment status. Resolve issues efficiently to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Typical Required Skills and Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management

• Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
